hey guys i have a few questions i have a older 4 bolt main 350sbc right now it has new style tbi heads with a mild cam and headers i've got some double hump heads with 2.02/1.60 valves double valve springs thts suposed to hold upto a .600" lift cam, would i be able to tell a noticable differance in changeing the heads also what would be the bigest cam i could run without running into PTV clearance? thx for any info

 

yes, you will notice a considerable difference in power. now by newer style tbi heads, what do you mean? if they are centerbolt valve covers, and the other heads are perimeter style, you will need to get a different intake. as for cam and valve clearence, what do you plan on doing? i wouldnt advise going any larger lift than 550 if you plan on driving it a lot on the street

 

Hard to say without knowing the variables like pistons (flat top,dished or dome) head and block surfacing etc.

 

yea there centerbolt but i have a edlebrock intake to put on the old style heads, i dont know exactly for the cam. i want the low real rough and mean idle...any suggestions?
