1991 camaro 350
hey, tmmrw im going to look at a 1991 camaro 5.7l v8. Ive kinda got my heart set on it bcuz im tired of my 3.4l v6, ya know? What do you guys think about the 91 car? How do they compete with other cars? Is there anything i should look out for?

First of all, don't go there already having your heart set on it. You'll end up making an emotional decision and could wind up buying a money pit. Look over the whole car, up and down, inside and out. Look for rust, especially underneath the floors. I used to have a 91 but with a 305. It was a fun car to drive, but no race car. The 350 will make it more fun to drive.

Make sure it's a 350 and not a 305. There is no visible difference between the two.
The eighth digit of the VIN should be an 8, and if you check the RPO codes in the center console, you'll be looking for B2L.

As stated in the above Posts, check the VIN & RPO code. Most but not all sellers claim a 305 is a 350 because of the identical appearance, so get your facts together before looking and don't belive the BS some seller give the uniformed.

Not where you can really see it. Z28's had 305 & 350TPI only and the RS model had 305 TBI & V-6. Again go by the VIN ONLY....Any other seller BS about special order and etc is just that BS and the first sign of this...RUN and don't look back.

So, i looked at it for 3 seconds and i said no lol. The paint and body needed so much work, it was ridiculous. And when he popped the hood to show me the motor, the hood popped off!!!! HAHAHA
