Default 1/8th mile times?

Hey guys. Its been a while since I've been on here or done anything with my camaro, but I finally got a chance to take it to the strip last weekend and was not happy with the numbers. The car is a 91 Z28 T5 that came with a 305 TPI. After way too much money and time wasted with trying to get the fuel injection working correctly (motor was cammed by someone and was obviously not fuel injection compatible), I put a carbed 350 in. The bottom end and heads are all stock. Cam is a Comp 280H, Edelbrock performer intake, Holley 670 Street Avenger, HEI ignition, Hooker headers, 3" exhaust, Zoom street/strip clutch, 3.73 gears in the stock limited slip (rebuilt), and an electric cutout. I figured the car would be in the 8's all day, but the fastest time was a 9.2 at 75. To me that seems like something is wrong, maybe I need to get a dyno run to check my air/fuel mixture? Don't know a lot about tuning carbs, but I know it isn't too far away from where it should be (smells slightly like gas at idle, but not burning your eyes rich). Didn't play with float levels at the track, they are sitting right at the bottom of the sight plug, barely trickling out. Do not know what the jet sizes are. Is a 9.2 what this setup should run? Or should I be getting more? Are the heads my problem?
