Default V8 conversion

I have a 92 RS 3.1 5-speed manual. Im thinking about a chevy small block (327) conversion. I got my hands on a t-5 V8 bellhousing from a 88 camaro. What else would I need for the switch. I also heard from a friend that i would have to reroute the fuel lines and remove the stock fuel pump. This will be a budget build so i am looking for the easiest way to do the switch, but i dont want to half-*** anything. I want to do it right so not to run into any problems. If i have to spend a little xtra on anything it wont be a problem. Thanx for any help.

It would be easier if you got the whole T5 V8 trans. The bellhousing will bolt up to your v6 trans. The big difference between the v8 and v6 is the input spline. V6 has 14 and the V8 has something like 26 or 28. So you'll need a special clutch disc with the smaller spline to fit your current v6 input shaft. It can be found at advance adapters or summitracing.

The question is HAS ANYONE EVER TRIED to use the v6 manual transmission with a V8 or is this all through the grapevine that you can't use a V6 tranny?
