Default Tempermental 91 RS

Ever since I've had my car it's been a bit temperamental. If it was too cold or wet out, it might not start right away. Normally if I'd just wait a few hours it would start right up and be fine. I always just kind of assumed it was because it was old and maybe a the chip in the key was just being sensitive. It's gotten worse though lately. Now instead of every once and a while not starting, it seems like every 3 or 4 times it starts it doesn't start after that for a while. It doesn't make any noise or react in any way when I try to turn it over except the battery comes on. Is my starter going? I don't know, any idea what it could be?
