my camaro lately has been running like crap. when it's idling, it shakes like a cammed out big block. and it's very underpowered (seriously, a camaro shouldn't lose to a geo metro[:@]) does anyone have any ideas??

p.s. it's a 3.1 v6

 

Sounds like it has solid misfire. Start by changing plugs & wires.

 

yea my car felt like a dog one day and was runin like it had the crap cammed out of it.............it was a plug wire that fell off

 

they're all brand new, got new wires last night and the plugs are less than a month old

 

Check them out anyways, you know "**** happens".

 

checked them out today, all are fine. i'm starting to think maybe it's timing, i don't have a timing light though.

 

well if you just put newwires on could you maby have ran a wire to the wrong cylynder? like idk if those cars ahve distributer caps or not but that would throw off your timing a bit.lol....

 

bought 6 new injectors. she purs like a kitten now even got back a that metro again the old injectors were shot, two of them weren't even spraying!
