Ok, well I wasn't sure cause we always do that swap with S-10's and we have to change the intake and use a throttle body so I wasn't aware of the different fuel rails. Good to know though in case I ever pick up another 2.8 or 3.1L camaro.

The 3.4L uses 17 lb injectors whereas the 2.8 uses 15lb or maybe 13lb ( i think) and it would cause it to run rich, Possibly dropping a Code 45, however I believe that an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator from the 305's fits 60* V6's so you could dial it in

I just bored out the intake to make it match a 4.3L's intake bore but that was with TBI, a regulator would be a much easier option.

Cool just a question?

found a weird little jot from a gm tech site about a 3.8 liter ho? turbo charged making 360 hp @ 5200 rpm in a 89 trans am, web site www.gtasourcepage.com/89pmdplaythings some test bed vehicle with copper racing gaskets and 22 pounds of boost had a six speed from a vett too.....hope this helps lots of luck

ah yes, the old GTT Trans Ams. think Buick GNX engine in a 3rd gen Trans Am. they were discontinued because they regularly were beating up Corvette's, and GM didn't really like that too much

this is back on ladies. looks like i'm gonna do a hybrid, 3400 heads and intake on a 3.1
