HELP ME!!!!!!!!
have a 90 camaro rs 3.1L v6
having fan problems
cannot locate the cooling fan sensor????
does anybody have a diagram or pictures of the 3.1L I've looked at Hanes book did not explain it well need to know specifically where its located it has a single wire the guy at autoparts store assured me it was the proper sensor after i took it back and asked some questions... it is threaded w/ a rubber gromet type of connection on the top

I'm quite sure your 90 is similar to my 88 and it does not have a dedicated cooling fan switch to run the fan. Instead the ECM turns your fan on and off and gets its info from a coolant temp sensor. This sensor is located next to the top rad hose on the drivers sideand I believe have a 2 wire connector. It's pretty inexpensive at your local parts store.
