i have a auto 3.1 and i want to switch it over to a 5spd...would it be worth the trouble or should i judt buy another maro with a 305 and a 5spd... i cant spend any more than my cars worth so im kinda stuck in a hard place

 

My cousin has done it, you gotta get the transmission from another v6 camaro, also you gotta pull the stuff like clutch peddles and linkages. Pretty much go to a junkyard and pull all the stuff having to do with the maunal tranny off of a donor car. As far as difficulty installing them i think ya gotta drill some holes somewhere for mounting some of the componants anyway here are some links that might help you get a better idea. Cost wise it doesint cost that much if you can get everything off a donor car probably in the 200 dollar range, it takes a fair bit of effort and patiance though.
