I need to reset my ignition timing for my 88 2.8 mpfi 5spd. My Haynes only says to refer to the vehicle emission sticker under the hood. I no longer have that sticker because the previous owner replaced the hood. Can one of you V6 owners with mpfi at around my year look it up for me on your car? Thanks guys.

 

I believe it's 10 degrees before top dead center. I think the haynes manual says to disconnect the timing advance wire somewhere on the left of the firewall. It's a single brown wire with a big black connector
