I have MPFI, is that bad on performance?

I have yet to see a "performance" mpfi

You have to wonder sometimes if people really know what MPFI is. MPFI just means that there is an injector at each cylinder. The LT1 and LS1 are MPFI along with every other new engine made. You have to ask yourself where you want to go with your car and what performance you want out of it. I'm a carb kinda guy which is great for going in a straight line but if you want road handling then fuel injected is where the response is second to none. Anyone who says that TPI is better than MPFI needs to either drive one or read a book... GOOD LUCK...

Tuned Port Injection was in most people's opinion, the best, most efficient, affordable fuel injection in it's time and even today. However, the LT-1 and LS-1 engines are most definitly a much more technically sound setup, the prices are just starting to become more affordable.
