I asked this in the 4th gen section with no help so here goes my attempt here.

is there any difference between the 82-92 camaro T5s and 93-02 camaro T5s? I mean other then the bell housings.

 

from what I found on a quick search.. other then swapping bell housings, the 4th gen t5 has a ford style T5 transmission case (which if I remember correctly is slightly stronger) and I skimmed through something about you might have to do something with the speedo if it doesn't work

 

Speedo gears, ratio and spline count if I'm not mistaken.
