1984 Camaro sport Lower Front end
Hi all,
I have a 1984 Camaro Sport 2.8L V6 and I changed the front springs about 2 years ago with OEM v6 springs. I still find it sits too high , higher than the back. I measure the fronts from the ground to the wheel well and on the fronts I measure 28 3/4 ". The rears are at 27 3/4". Can someone tell me what the fronts should be sitting at. I hope to cut off the coil springs to lower it at 1/2 a coil per inch. I just need to know how much to cut off and what the proper front measurement should be. Any help appreciated.
thanks,
Jumbo

i have always seen that the rear sits lower than the front, the rear springs tend to sag more. if you wanted to, cut the front spring by a quarter coil, then see how it sits from there. heat the cut end and flatten it down to allow it seat correctly. once its where you like it, have it aligned
