Default 91 Camaro Help

Ok so i've been trying to get a deal done with a local dealership to trade my dodge neon for his 91 camaro but hes wanting me to add 1700 to the price and i just dont think thats a good deal since the neon is a 04 heres some details

91 Camaro v8 305 engine with 98,000 miles on it

Pass side window wont roll down
Idle problems (seems like it wants to shut off but doesnt)
Air vent wont send out air
T Top leaks (they all do i guess sooner or later) and they need to be buffed and painted badly
Paint on the car is pretty good in (few spots they need to be redoneeveryday use type things though i guess)

04 Neon 4 cyc with 131,000 miles on it

No problems just little few chips in paint

So my question is shouldnt he just straight up trade car for car cause the way gas is the value on my neon has shot up and is worth about 800 to 1200 more then this camaro. He just called me back and lower his price to 3700 for the car or 1700 and the neon which is buck crazy im thinking right?

What the salesman does and what he should do are never the same. Good luck on this and let us know how you did.

Sounds like he knows how bad you want it and is going to get as much as he can out of you for it. i paid 3700 for my wifes 92 with 94k on it but that was 8 years ago . the car was in perfect condition then...... good luck

Well i ended up passing on it cause we coouldnt come to a deal and i ended up telling him id be back in a few months when its still sitting there cause of that crazy price he has on it with 3k to take it xD

Btw it seemed like it was having a hard time switching gears which leads me to believing the tras was about to go so i hope it falls out on him that way he will have to either fix it or sell it at a big discount
