1986 z28 not starting

I have a 1986 z28 5.0 V8 that isn't starting.

I have poured gas into the carb. and it fires and runs rough for a few seconds until the gas is gone.

Fuel Pump?

Could be the fuel pump, but also a problem with the carb, clogged fuel filter, bad gas, etc.. Can't tell without testing, unless you like to change parts for no good reason.
