what are the widest tires i can tup on a 16/8 inch rim
 

i have a third gen camaro and i have stock rims and i wont wider tire so i wont to know how wide i could go with stock rims

IT's 255. You need to go to at least 17" ifyou wanna get fat on some tires.

255/50/16tires maxon the stock 16x8 wheels.

Because 17" wheels come in larger widths which will take a wider tire. I do not like oversized tires on my car, but I do have 17x8.5 wheels & 245/45/17 tires.
