what are the widest tires i can tup on a 16/8 inch rim

i have a third gen camaro and i have stock rims and i wont wider tire so i wont to know how wide i could go with stock rims

255.........Been there, done that! A 255/50 looks good
But why do you ask here? Are you planning on putting them inside the car???

IT's 255. You need to go to at least 17" ifyou wanna get fat on some tires.

255/50/16tires maxon the stock 16x8 wheels.

what the hell does 17" rims have to do with tire width?

Because 17" wheels come in larger widths which will take a wider tire. I do not like oversized tires on my car, but I do have 17x8.5 wheels & 245/45/17 tires.
