Default redieing seats

I bought a 89 camaro a few months ago. The seats need to be either redied or just completly reupholsterd. They are in great shape, just faded, is it cheaper to redie or to have them redone? I would like to keep the original seats so the Camaro is still in the seats near the lumbar of your back.

Are they all vinyl or leather? if so you can buy the dye for 8 bucks a can and do it yourself.

If you dont like the results you can have them reupolstered for 500 bucks.

I think dyeing them is more economical and it will last for a long time.

Good luck

they are a cloth seat. ive called around, only a few places will even do it for some reason. I really dont want leather seats. So uncomfortable on hot days, which we have plenty of here.

Just dye them yourself, What color are they? You should be able to do it, if you are sceptical, go to a junk yard and try it on some **** seats. Good luck
