ok, everybody knows the doors on the 3rd gens are insanely heavy. and They rattle like crazy. Can anything be done to fix this? My window is really tight in the track, that doesnt flop around, however when im driving i hear things rattling inside and it bugs me. also, the window crank is alittle loose and has play in it, can that be fixed too?

 

turn up the radio lol. seriously tho, you can pull the door panel and make sure all the bolts are tight. you do have to remember that these cars are getting old and thing eventually just rattle.

 

Yeah, i know its never gunna be perfect, but im just wondering if i can pull the pannel off, and maybe find some loose bolts are screws. ill give it a shot.

 

You may find that if it doesn't have electric windows then the noise might be coming from the crank operator. They wear and get sloppy over time, and might need to be replaced if it's worn out.
And if you think 3rd gen doors are big and heavy, you haven't tried to lift a 2nd gen yet! Way bigger and heavier!

 

it has manual door. and like i said the crank has some play in it, when im driving i hear a rattle that just wont go away. and very quiet but a little annoying. If i push on the door pannel really hard it will go away.
