i really think its the starter 2, the reason i bought a new starter is because it was doing the same thing, before, i was in iraq for 9 months and it was sitting undr a tree in my gravel driveway, no good at all, the diag on the starter was good, but i think the starter is bad, but i dont know, im going fing nutz i cant go anywhere lol my gf is geting pissed and it just sucks lmao

I had the same problem with mine,replaced every thing I could,in the end it was a 6 month old battery cable that still looked new,but went bad near the headers. Couldnt tell from lookin at it but replaced it and the car cranked. Does the starter click,or is there nothing? If there is nothing check the neutral safty switch un hook it and clean the connection. Could also be a ground strap on the back of the block

You can always go to the starter and jam a large screwdriver between the solenoid terminal and the large power terminal. Look out for sprks. This will bypass all cicuitry and if the starter and solenoid are good it will try to turn the engine over, assuming you are getting full battery voltage. However, the engine will not start by doing this. Do this with the ignition key OFF to prevent spiking the PCM.

it does nothing, i can hear the ignition click really softly when i turn the key , no cranking. the battery cable looks fine, i checked it all the way from the battery to the starter,and for the screwdriver thing no way, i have been to iraq twice and almost been shot many times but i will not fu&* with electricity like that lol

and when i turn the key the voltage guage on the dash doesent go down at all btw, dont know if that means anything

Try tapping the starter lightly with a hammer,it works on fords.
