I got a 86 camaro and the windshield wiper fuse keeps blowing. The wipers work,but the when i try to spray the water then it blows the fuse. I got a new windshiled wiper motor withnew sparyer pump and it still keeps doing it. Has anybody else had this problem??

 

I know you were hoping for an answer, unfortunetly I have a similar problem.
I need to change out my wiper/pump motor and wiring harness.
My problem is that the washers don't work, at all. Only every now and again, my volt meter will drop way low and heat the wiring up. Other times, the wipers will work, only on High at first, then select Low they work, on Delay they just stop wherever they last were. Off returns them to the park position.

I tell you this, If you are popping the fuse, it is most likely a short to ground. I have to check into my system as well...one butchered hack job of a project I've picked up. From the pump you have 2 wires, and I beleive 4 to the wiper. I would check in that connector and check for short to ground w/ a multimeter.

Also, what Amp fuse are you replacing it with. I beleive it should be a 20 or 25 fuse. Could be the fault there.

 

Go to your local library & look for the Mitchell manuals, copy the wiring diagram for the wiper circuits and check all the equipment and wiring involved. Electrical problems can happen anywhere in the circuitry.
