Default will different rear end screw up my speedo?

My 92 rs has stock 273's i believe with limited slip rear but i want to put in 3:23's or 3:73's. Now i know the speed is guaged from the end of the tranny so obviously its before the rear. Will this make my speedo show a speed higher than i am actally going? If so what do i do to solve that problem?

Yes, this will mess up the speedo. The speedo is run off of the speed sensor on the side of the tailshaft on the tranny. There are two gears, the drive gear and the sensor gear. The drive gear goes around the center drive shaft through the tranny (connected to the driveshaft, then the "driveshaft is connected to the...rear end") lol...the drive gear engages with the gear on the sensor. You can get both of these gears and they will tell which ones you need at:
