Default WILL IT BOLT UP HELP PLEASE

I am 15 almost 16 and working on my 85 camaro it has the 2.8 multiport v6 and my dad and i want to put a 350ci v8tuned port fuel injection engine in it. Now like I said its an 85 and I need to know if the 350 will bolt up without adding new engine mounts. PLEASE HELP!!!

no. you need to get small block chevy mounts for it. go to a local junkyard and pull some off another third gen camaro

Engine mounts are the least of your worries. The 350 isn't going to bolt up to your v-6 trans. The v-6 has a smaller bolt pattern than the v-8.

Thats right, plus the PCM, Front suspension wont be strong enough to hold for long, Rear end is too weak, brakes are to small for the added weight, it'll be cheaper to sell what you have and buy one with the V8 in it...

the rear end and brakes are the same for them all. 2.8 clear up to the 5.7 unless you get disc brakes. but yea the tranny will not bolt up and you will need to get a stronger set of springs and struts

I saw the PCM mentioned but don't forget if you want fuel injection you will need a wiring harness. You better of selling your car and finding a V8

seriously,3rd gen350insemi-good condition can be had for pretty cheap and restored completely for much cheaper and less headache than what ur talking now.

hey every1 thanks for the replys they helped alot but the body i want to keep its got some memories with my family but i was goin to just buy a drivtrain out of maybe an iroc or 80's vette but keep em comin theyre helpn thanks

well, why dont you just go ape-**** with it and get a t56 also...and dual quads on the 350 too, hell why not a vortec supercharger...
