rims are all a little different so im not saying this is 100% right but is what i think is correct. lol. it all depends on the offset of the rim. some deep dish rims are big time negative offset (mounting surface of wheel is closer to the inside of the wheel) and make the wheels stick out to far. find out what u have on are. take a wheel off and set it on the ground flat with the outside up. on a hard level surface measure the distance from the floor to the center of the rim. then measure from the floor to the side of the rim that mounts to the hub. the difference is your offset.
found this i think its meteric
To calculate backspacing you use this formula:
(rim width ) / 2 + 0.5 + (offset /25.4) = backspacing
once u have figured out what offset the wheels are that are rubbing on the car then u measure what distance u would like the tire moved in and subtract it from the offset.

If they are stock factory Iroc WHEELS they will be no problem with fit and can be used without the use of spacers. However; Iroc wheels are axle speciffic and they are maked (front) & (rear) and can only be used in those positions. For tires, the stock size was 245/50/16 ( best choice) with 255/50/16
being the MAX. Tires with less width (225 & 235) can also be used.
I am using 17x8.5 wheels & 245/45/17 tires so you see they are not a problem on any 3rd gen Camaro.
