its only speed depentent. As soon as i start moving it starts and gets faster and faster. Doesnt matter if i change gear or what gear i am in. If my foot is on the clutch or not. it has a brand new throwout bearing.

Do you know for a fact that it's coming from the bellhousing area? I know how sounds sometimes like to travel. Any possible way it could be at the front wheels, like the brakes maybe? Or is it not that kind of whine? Have you lifted the front wheels yet and given them a twirl and a listen?

its not a brake noise. Im gona life it tomorrow and give it an inspection. Im just baffled right now and need some possible leads. Im pretty sure its a bearing noise. And i have rebuilt the whole drive train not even 1000 miles ago.

Did you also replace the pilot bushing? Or did you (uh-oh) already have or put in a roller bearing?

just did a quick test drive and inspection.

The noise is def. a speed depentent noise, no matter if im in neutral or with my foot on the clutch you can still hear it. So i lifted the back wheels and spun them a could hear the noise coming from the transmission.

any ideas?

low fluid level, clutch linkage out of adjustment, bad throw out bearing, something bent inside the trany (shifting arm etc), bearing in trany failing. not real sure how a pilot bushing would do it but if u pull tranny change it. check to see if the trany bolts are tight, if lose it may be out of alignment.
