Default Whining Noise

Just took a short trip down the road, and all of a sudden i hear a pretty loud whinning noise. It starts around 15mph and just gets faster and finer. Its coming from the flywheel bellhousing area. It doesnt matter what gear i am in (5 speed), the noise is still the same. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Probably your wife when she saw the repair bills! Just kidding!
Check your freeplay on the clutch pedal, if it's riding on the throwout bearing it may be the noise. Hopefully it hasn't damaged it already.

Clutch pedal seem pretty normal. it sounds like a bearing noise.

is it speed dependant, gear dependant, rpm dependant? i need those 3 things to try and pin point the problem. also, push the clutch in when you are at different speeds and see if the noise goes away.

its speed dependant only? doesnt change with revs or gear? the only thing that would cause that would be one of the two bearings that hold the output gear section inside the transmission, or something in the driveline. if it was the throwout bearing or trans input bearing, those would be engine speed dependant. if it was the input shaft pocket bearing, that would be gear dependant and would go away in fourth gear (direct drive, input and output shafts at same speed), and any bearings on the counter shaft would be gear and engine rpm dependant.
