where to buy this thing for a hood

Default where to buy this thing for a hood

i have a $800 fiberglass hodd for my 83 camaro z28 but it does have the plastic molding stuff that injects the air straight to the engine and the black hole filler things that bolt to the hood dont fit so i wanna know where i could buy the plastic molding stuff that come pre made and stuff and how much would it cost new or used

A picture of your hood would be helpful so we know "which thingy that goes into what stuff" that you're talking about!

here are some pictures and i dont think its the louvers it like a plastic tubing stuff that injects the air right to the engine

Not to burst your bubble but thats not a $800 dollar hood. That's a factory Z28 hood.

really i was told that it was a $800 hood but oh well do you know where i could buy the plastic tube stuff cause the water in leaking right inton the carborater because the holes are right above it

Is it really a glass hood? And did you pay $800 for it, or did it come with the car? Look on ebay for the louvered insert panels.

ya it is a real fiber glass hodd and it didnt come with the car its after market and i looked for thoes louvered insert panels and didnt find anything but i heard it called like the ram air intake system or something like that

seal it up with fiberglass and put some stock louvers on there. ive never heard or seen any ram air setup on a 3rd gen like that. get some glass and resin, seal it up on the inside, gently sand it down and buy some louvers from a junkyard that are in good shape. drill the holes and bolt them on.
