Default wheels and tires

Hi everyone well im new and i was wondering if anyone could help me with a little question. I am adding some 18" rims to my car and i was wondering if there would be any big difference between a tire size of 225/40/18 and 235/45/18. Like with my ride comfort and things. Plus has anyone heard of essenza tires those are the ones im looking at there on ebay.

Default RE: wheels and tires

225/40/18====8.85 wide by 25.08 ride height...

234/45/18====9.25 wide by 26.32 ride height...

in my experiences...that could make for a DRAMATIC difference in ride quality...

hmm..what is your factory tire size??

the thicker the sidewall=better ride quality, but it also = sidewall movement under cornering...

thinner sidewalls=rougher ride, but better handling/less movement of the rim side to side in the tire...
