Default whats my rear end ratio?

when I bought my 84 camaro, it came with the stock, blown 373 rear end, and I was told that the rear they gave me was a posi 373. B4 installing it I pulled cover and yes it is posi, but now I am not sure if its actually a 373 or not. is there a way to lift the rear of the car and spin the tire 1 time and count the input yolk rotations to find out for sure? I have looked a bit here and and found nothing. thanks in advace.

To be sure pull the cover and check the Mfg stamped markings on the OD of the dr gear for the ratio... example 41/11=3:73.

Only sure method is to divide the ring gear tooth count by the pinon gear tooth count.
The stamped numbers will tell what it was but if someone had changed the gears you wouldn't know for sure without doing the math.

Here is some reading for you

If you can't read, how are you going to divide.
