I personally like anything 86-92 it has the nicest body style.. Id say go for an 88-89 Iroc- Z with the 350 Tuned Port Injection.
I wouldn't recommend a 305 because my friend has a 91 Rally sport with a 305 and it's a really really nice looking camaro it's in great shape and no problems at all but the factory 305 doesn't have much *****.

Totally agree
I had an 89 iroc z28 with the 350. It looked great and had *****. Unfortunately some kid with a junior license ran a stop, I'm sure you guy's know the rest [:@]. Anyway now I have an 85 z28 5 speed with a 305 that has no juevos! Not for long though! go with the iroc with a 350
