I'm lost. How do you know it's not a 92? Where does it say it has a carb?

you can look at the picture and tell it has a carb. I believe '86 was the last year for carb ( correct me if i'm wrong )

That's a picture of a 92 RS with TBI, I know cause I have one. I think everything Chevy put TBI on they used round aircleaner on cause it fits on quadrajetcarb also. They were just using up old stuff

better believe it. gm used that style air cleaner from the 50's to the mid 90's

the serp belt and a/c compressor are a dead giveaway its at least an 88

You don't believe I have a 92RS? Have seen engine compartment on 92RS with stock 305 and TBI?

That was partly my fault because I didn't know they used that Air Cleaner on the TBI cars. My bad. I've only seen those the Carb cars, like mine.

That's Ok, now you know. I had a 74 Chevy truck with the same looking air cleaner housing except it was taller so a taller element fit inside, of course we flip the lid over so it would breathe better.
