what should I do?

RE: what should I do?
I ould guess it would run OK, and the power should be about the same, but you will need a TBI manifold to bolt to the Vortec heads. Personally, I would avoid going to TBI as I see no advantage to it, a TPI or a Holley injection would give better results.

The Vortec heads do not mate up to the TPI manifold. You may try a MPI injection from Holley or Edelbrock, but I am not sure they will fit either. Scoggin & ****ey advertises a TPI lower intake baseplate to fit Vortec heads, which will mate up to TPI runners, this is probably the best bet. You could also check out the FI system used by GM on Vortec V8s. In all cases you would need the appropriate computer and wiring harness.
