Default what rims should i get?

im looking at a pair of nitto 555s for my camaro. first of all will 275/40/17 even fit on my car? and if so whats the bolt pattern on a 85 z/28? i looked in faq and searched for it but i cant seem to find it. i just want really wide drag radials on my car so traction isnt a huge issue. any pointers for me?

its 4.75 x 5, but you will have to find out the backspacing for the car and rims otherwise it may not fit as well as you'd like

My truck's tires are 10" wide (can' recall the exact tire dimensions at the moment) with 5" backspacing, and they will just barely squeeze into my car's wheel well (not factoring in the different bolt circle). So you could go 10" and SHOULD be ok, so long as you don't go with a really BIG tire, 26" is about the limit I think...

They should fit without tubs, no problem! if my 27"x10" truck tires will squeeeeeze into my wheel wells, those should be good. Go for it!
