What year is your car? Auto or Manual? This site should have more than enough info:

It's more than likely a 7.5 or 8.5 inch 10 bolt. On the ring gear (the larger gear) there will be a long series of numbers stamped on the edge facing you, towards the end of that chain there will be two-two digit numbers ie: 41 11, 41 10 and so on. these numbers represent the tooth count of both gears. all you have to do is divide the larger by the smaller ie: 41/11=3.727=3.73's and 41/10=4.1=4.10's. I would suggest taking it to a very reputable drivetrain shop. They will know exactly what kind of rear end to get gears for and whether or not you'll have to change carriers. Once the gears have been MOUNTED, not installed, you own them they cannot be returned. My boss has made alot of money off guys who bought the wrong gears over the internet. Stay away from Motive Gear, and Yukon thier gear sets are sht and don't like to set up worth a crap. Primarily Precision Gear and Spicer is what we have always recomended and used on customer work.
92 RS with a 305 auto had a 10-bolt 2:73 using a open 2 series carrier. Its not worth the money for install 3:73 gears in the rear you now have. And the reasons are too many to list.

i dont know what these other guys are sayin not saying there wrong but im pretty sure in order to find out what gear ratio is in your car if you look on the axle housing there should be i believe its there letters and a number stamped into it you might have to take some of the grim if any and rust if any off to see it or there should be a tag on the rear end cover. Then if you have the manual or a service manual for your car those numbers should be in there somewhere and that'll tell you for sure what you have in your car. Hope that helps
