i have an 84 berlinetta, dont care much for the front bumper cover. can that be swaped out with an 86 z28??

 

yeah. it will drop down a bit more though. but SHOULD bolt up the same

 

for 80 to 92 front ends should almost always line up the same

 

82-92 are the years your shooting for. However the 90-92 GFX where a bit different. same lines, but had "vents" in them.

 

yeah the bottom is lower and they are slightly wider.

if you change your front bumper you should replace the rear sides and get sideskirts to match

i changed my front bumper on my rs to the vented gfx and now i wish i had bought the rear pieces and the skirts now since the vented front gfx is wider and slightly lower so it dont match up exactly

 

Awesome! I went to a salvage yard and they have a z28 and an IrockZ they are both in sweet shape and i plan to get the front bumper and gfx of the z28. Thanks for all your help guys, Im new to camrao, well its the first Chevy i have ever owned, so i will have lots of questions!

 

This is why i dont like this bumper it hase the slots in it and that dosent look right.
