How do i know what model my car is? What are the codes for the RS,Z-28, and Iroc-Z?

 

What is the year of your car?

 

If you don't know[sm=chairshot.gif] what model it is, how are we suppose to know. Duh

 

You can tell by the different codes, so stop trying to be a smart *** and learn something like i am trying to do!

nj85z28 the car is an '87

 

the gfx and rear bumper say z28 but i dont know if it has been painted again w/out the iroc-z lettering. It does have the iroc hood.

on irocs the area where the head lights should be black.and the spoilers on the car should be the same as the body.There is also a code under the glove box door that tells you ill double check and hit you back

 

i think it might be an iroc. the headlight area is black and the spoiler is the same color as the car. does the iroc have a light in the spoiler?

I think it might be an IROC. Some years they did away with the Z28 name and just went with IROC. Then when Chevy no longer had cars in the International Race of Chanpions they brought the Z28 name back. Unless the body was changed to make it look like an IROC.
