What 1/4 mile times should I exspect?
Just picked up a 1986 Camaro. Just about tubbed out. In other words nothing in but motor and tranny.
Once I get some miners done, like gages, I am planning on playing at Test and Tunes locally in Ohio.
It has a new 350 Crate Engine, Elderbrock Performer heads, Elderbrock 4 barrel carb and 14" cleaner, Hooker Contender headers w/glass packs and straight exhaust. It also has 700r4 with 2800 stall and shift kit and a 10 bolt rear end (no idea on gear size).
The guy I got the car off of was an old man that was building the car for street and strip but had an unfortunate disability and never made it to the track. Like I said, car is in the shop getting miners done and I have not even had a good chance to drive the car let alone get it on the track. I am new to strip racing and wondered what I should be looking at for ¼ miles times.
What do you think? Feel free to tell your stories of what you have and what times you can run.

Sorry, I am pretty new to the Camaro Forums but I was thinking I was in the third Generation area and in the General discussion area. Isn't a 86 third gen and wasn't my topic open to a gereneral discussion? I see people have asked questions in this area that are not car repair questions. I figured what better area to ask what to exspect from a third gen car but the third gen general discussion area.
