Default v8 swap...evap canister?

hey guys, i just had a question, i pulled the fuel injected v6 out of my camaro and am putting a carb'd v8 in it. i've already pullled out the ecm, ecm wiring and all unneccesary connectors out, and i was wondering if i NEED to keep my evaporation canister or if i can junk it? any help would be great..

You can get rid of it, butyou need to plug up all the EVAP hoses attached to the tank.

Yes for the brake booster, however you will need something to control the valve on what I call the climate control switch for your heater. One for vacuum advance and depending on the tranny, you will need one there also.

One of those hoses on the evap is labeled vent for the tank. Don't close off the vent

Yes a vent for the tank. I may be wrong about the word. It may say "tank"

well as long as i dont block that line it should be fine right? i'm assuming the tank vent is the vacuum line that follows the rear brake lines?
