Default V6 to v8 conversion

I was reading about changing a v6 to a v8. I saw how v6 tranny's are smaller and need to be replacedand becompatible with the 305/350 motor. What other things need to be done? I question the rear-end, front end (weight), and electrical ie: gauges tach, etc...

Now with this being said, what absolutely needs to be done after the swap and what can wait?

You will need to change the tranny, ecu, wiring harness, motor mounts, exhaust, fuel pumpand i believe the speed sensor. The suspention in the front will be fineit is the same, and the rear end is the same as well just with different gear ratio's. 88-92 v6 carshad a 3.23 rear end and the v8 cars had a 2.73 rear end so you should leave the v6 rear end alone. You may have to remove it to drop the gas tank to do the fuel pump though.
