First, no need to yell... But I dont know about the V6 versions of these, but I have an 88 Camaro with the 305 (5.0) and I like it. It gets alot of flack for being kind of a weak motor as far as V8s go, but the power isenough to get you a ticketand the gas mileage isnt horrible.

Caps lock is a no-no!
If you want a V8 car and it runs good buy the Camaro. But be warned, Convertables may leak and be noisey. Kinda like your post. The V6 trans wont bolt up to a V8 so there is $800 difference to work on a swap and you most likely wont do it for that much.

It can't be said enough. If you do the caps thing again, I will personally drive out to your house and rip the key off of your keyboard.Get the Camaro if they're both in good working order, 'cause the V8 swap is a pain in the ***, plus, ragtop third gens are hard to find.

Sorry about the caps I looked at the Pontiac piece of junk for the price and the convertable is sold still leaning towards the 1982 camaro with the 350 in it. Like I stated in another thread the camaro is rough in side and out. but he only wants 1000 dollers for it. It needs a new interior, new tires, rims, and paint that I know of. The engine is a 350 built up to 400 Hp out of a 1976 monte carlo with a 350 turbo tied to it. Is it worth a 1000 dollers.

Too bad you didn't grab the Convertible, those puppies are going up in value FAST.

Is it worth a grand to you?

He contuniued to finish his post in caps and when he hit the post it button it denied him because it was all caps.MF had a problem with people that know more than he does. Yes he has a problem with the entire population.
As a matter of fact he talked me out of getting a convertable 5 speed......THAT ****!

Wow... and I thought I was an *******... that's pretty craptastic. I've only ever seen one of those. Too bad it wasn't for sale, or it'd probably be parked outside right now... What the hell did he tell you to get you off of it?
