ok so i stopped by my 83 z28 to continue gutting it. i went to open the trunk and it don't budge. the key turns but it don't release. any other way to get this to open without doing any body damage? i haven't attempted opening it in over 3 years.

 

Remove the rear inside panel and take a look and check what may be a simple/major problem before asking questions.

 

Jeez man, maybe he didn't know he could do that? It still isn't going to be a real picnic to go digging and crawling back there.
