ok you have the manual 5 speed. this happened to me so I can help you a bit. on the drivers side of the tranny near the top is a bolt. it should be all the way in. do NOT force it in if its out. you will need to remove the tranny and PARTLY disassemble it to re engage the fork groove assembly that controlls both overdrive and 5th gear, which is in the tail housing. here is a site that helped me alot. you do not need to remove the bell housing, just the tranny. its 4 bolts to the bellhousing.
