Default TBI or 4 barrel??

I just bought a 90 camaro RS. It has the 305 HO in it and I was considering putting a new intake and carb on it instead. Could anyone tell me how easy this would be and what if any changes I might need to make to the computer.

Just stick with the TBI, unless your pushing over 350 HP Your just fine with the TBI, if you want a new manifold Edelbrock makes a Performer TBI intake.

If you want the PITA of a Carb you will new a new dizzy and if you have an auto say goodbye to the Torque Converter lock up.

IMO Stay with TBI, it will save you a LOT more

carb isnt that bad. they make torque converter lockup adapters and making the switch wont kill you. you'll also need to either ditch the electric fuel pump and put one on rated for a lower psi or get a regulator.

On the computer part if you go anything else but TBI Your gonna have to get a new one or in the case of carb, delete it.
IMO TBI is like a carb that you never have to adjust! and if you make the fuel pressure regulator adjustable on it you can fix lean/rich things, OR do what Im doing and make it vacuum adjusted to run smoother through all the RPMs tho mine already runs smooth.
And they do make TBIs that can flow better then 4bbl CArbs
