can you rebuild a t-5 to beef it up, i can barely find any oem overhaul kits let alone high performance ones.

 

anyone ever do this? or are they just too crappy to consider it?

 

I got my parts from Thegearbox. they have several different kits on ebay and the staff is quite helpful. Depends on what you want in your kit. I downloaded the rebuilding instructions from the internet. Sorry I can't recall which site.

if you can, get a t-5 world class to rebuild. Or anything from like... 87 or up? somewhere around there Chevrolet got a bit better T-5 to work with. Its a little stronger. idk if its the world class one, but i do know that its stronger.
