most of summits parts are made by other manufacturers. I dont think they even make a camshaft (maybe an intake.... butthats about it) so ur safe on their site. ive bought plenty of stuff from them in the past

I would do a little research on the specific part you may be looking at. Do a Google search.
Some of the "Summit" name brand parts are major manufacturer "factory seconds" parts. So it depends on why the manufacturer rejected them and didn't want to put their own name on it.

Im running a Jegs brand fuel pump, headers, and accessory bolt kit, and I've never had any complaints. Their plug wires are pretty good too, but the set I got fit horribly, so I didn't use them.

I'm mainly concerned about the summit brand name. I know that summit sells quality parts such as edelbrock, holly, etc. I'm looking at building a 350. I'd like to get around 400 horses ( i may be dreaming with the money i'll have to spend ), due to a money supply i was looking at the summit brand because it is normally cheaper than the other brands.

The three main things i was lookin at in the summit brand is a distributer, cam/lifter set, and intake. Any comment?
