Default subframe connectors. which ones do i get?

i found some bolt on subframe connectors for like 260 or something. and it said they wont fit with factory exhaust. no im looking for new ones. does anyone have any that they had no problem putting on? if so let me know please. i need some and i want to spend less the 260. i dont mind if they're weld on or bolt on. so any advise would really make my day.
thanks.

I have been looking into some also. You also have to watch for some like competion engineering where you need to cut out the floor!. **** dat noise. I Like Spohn's design. Weld onto the rocker then to the front and rear control arm bracket and then a tube about where the tranny mount is. But they are expensive! I told my brother I will go see my old customers down the street at the steel mill and buy the stuff if he welds it in our cars. Look at spohns. If you have no access at something to bend the tube then some pie slices welded up to make the bendswould work

Most SFC are of a basic design. I have had the Spohn Performance ones ever since he introduced the tube type SFCs. They should be the first mod anyone makes (you can buy any brand), but have them WELDED in for the best results.

the problem is i think my passenger rocker is kinda... i dunno.... rusted out. theres a pretty big hole there. can i patch it up? i mean the right way of patching it up like cut, grind, and weld new steel on. would that work? or can i even make my own subframe connectors? cuz i know some people that can help. they own machine shops.

I am going to make my own. They are so simple. And yes, patch your rocker.

I can't remember if I got mine at Jegs or Summit but they were only like $175.00 and weld in. Call them up and ask. I have had them welded on two different 3rd GENs both solid roof and T-Top. You will not believe the difference they makein the firmness of the ride and suspension. Well worth the effort!
Good luck.

I have SLP headers aftermarket cat and a full SlP 3" exhaust and my Spohn SFC had NO problem witrh the welded install. The heat shield for the cat had to be removed, but that was noted in the installation instructions.
Again this isthe best Mod that can be made on any 3rd gen car.
