Dont get worried yet. You replaced the O2 now replace the coolant temp sensor and disconect the battery for 10 to 20 seconds and it will clear the codes. Then drive it a while and see if they come back.

yea, that temp sensor is probably bad. i messed it up pretty bad when i changed the headers... the system needs to be flushed anyway.

The temp sensor is on the intake manifold. Should have a yellow and a black wires. The sender for the gauge (the one located on the head with a green wire) does not send any signal to the computer.

is it??? well shoot, i destroyed something on the passenger side of my engine below the number 6 cylinder. i managed to rig it so it will work for now... but is that NOT a temp sensor? when i broke it my engine over heated and the fan wasnt comming on. thats what lead me to believe thats what it was. but yall know more than i do... so i noticed there is a sensor or SOMETHING on the thermostat housing. is that what im looking for?

If it's something like the sending unit with you swapped earlier, yeah, that's it exactly. Should be a pretty easy piece to get to, if I remember correctly. I know the pigtail connectors like to go bad in that section of the wiring harness, too, and they're cheap and easy to change, so you may wanna pick one up with the new thermistor.

The computer may have relearned after a few drive cycles.
