stripped torx intake bolts
Well I got off all the intake and head bolts except for 3 t40 torx bits ones. 2 of them are pretty stripped and one is completely not there just a hole.
I was wondering if these screw extractor kit will work if anyone has any experience with this or an idea.

ehhhh wrong pic? lol
as far as the bolts.. as long as they arent toooooo tight, you can probable get them out with those. If not, head to a auto parts store and get a screw extractor. I was management at Oreilly and they carried them. a good amount of them at that. Might have to drill it a bit, be sure your dead on straight though.

Nope, those aren't going to work, unless you drill the bolt heads to deepen the hole. But you don't have to screw with that. Get yourself a small cold chisel that looks like this: Chisel Picture. Make sure it has a sharp edge on it, and if it doesn't, grind a sharp edge. Then take the chisel and hold it at a slight angle on the left half of the bolt head and give it a few hard whacks with a hammer. The chisel will dig in and spin the bolt out counter-clockwise.

And those are some killer fish! Did you need to get a bigger boat?

if that fails, you can try to drill them and use the screw extractor. if that fails, if you can get in there with a large flat head screw driver or flat head socket, you can cut the bolt into have a slot. if that fails, weld a nut from the inside to the bolt head.
ps, some of them are t45 on the intake. i believe it is on the manifold going into the heads. the uppers are t40

ok well chisel didnt go well lol. I was using normal bits to drill and snapped a few and got about halfway down. Than tried the stupid extrator bit that snapped after like a qauter turn...Than went to harbor frieght and got some titanium nitrade covered bits and they last well but drilling is very slow with my battery powered dewalt drill. So i used 2 batteries and got about halfway through one of the three bits. sigh
