Default starter help asap!!

I cant firgure out whats going on. theres four red wires that go to the starter with fuseable links an one main lead to the batt. well tonight i was driving an the car stalled when i went to go start it back up it wouldn't fire so i had my buddy push me to the shop (it was only 2 blocks) we got it in the shop an i took the air cleaner off an went to start it up the batt died. when we tried to hook the batt charger up to it.. the termanel arced crazy. i put it on the hoist took the starter off, an it was hott as hell. i put a test light on the wires an the three wires that hook in to one eye hole contector and it lights up but the single one doesnt an the remote does. im so lost. why would it light up an where do those three wires go. i cant figure it out.. help please.

Those fusable links are supoosed to get power off of the battery cable that hooks to the starter. If you had the diconected from that cable and they were hot then you need to find where they are getting power from.
Do you have a chiltons? If not I could scan and e-mail some pics of diagrams that may help you.

Check those links. Sometimes the wire wont burn away but it comes loose inside the plastic part. I can only think of two right now. One goes to the alt for voltage detecting and the other goes to the headlights and tailights. They might go up to the junction block and maybe one goes to the ignition.

Your just frustrated and cant blame yourself for that. Breath.....Count to ten.....in latin......if you have to just pull the whole dash out, its not hard at all, and trace the wires and repair them. You have done so much , try not to give up so easy.
