Spring for horn ???
Okay, now thatI have electricity going to my horn, I need the little spring & its retainer that goes over the horn wire from the Grant button. This is awire thathas a brass piece swedged to the end for contact with the brass button down in the steering column. I assume it will need to have some sort of split collar that's held in placebuy the spring to keep it pressed against the button or does the spring wind over the swedged end?Does anyone know where to find those pesky little parts or should I try & make something? How would Imake the piece that goes into the steering column that locks into the little plastic insulator. Ya'll know what I'm talking about?
Thanks,

HUH???
I know what is suposed to be in there. You can find one in any of those GM colums at a junk yard. Maybe even in the "HELP" isle at the parts store.
There is a turn signal cam. It has two funtions. One is it cancels the turn signal after the turn. The other is the horn button wire attaches to it (horn ring) by a spring loaded wire and a retainer. Be careful because some times an ear breaks off the cam/horn ring and the spring loaded wire will not stay in. From all the wheels I have seen you still use that wire and it simply attaches to the horn ring/ cam and the other end to the horn button made for the wheel.

RE: Spring for horn ???
Since you mentioned "Grant", I presume you're referring to an aftermarket steering wheel set-up? Finding only the parts you need will be hard. The horn kits are relatively inexpensive, and you can find them on ebay. You may even find a used one for cheap. Is this what you're talking about?
